Indie Design GAL: Everything Else

Indie Design GAL: Everything Else

This is part of my on-going Indie Designer Gift-A-Long 2018 series. Starting on November 24th, one to two times a week I will be highlighting 4-6 designs from my fellow designers also participating in the event.

Don’t forget to join in the fun, we’re all over here chatting up a storm.

Fair Isle PANTS by Emily Ringelman

From the pattern description
These pants are written for calf-length lounge pants, but if the mood strikes you, make shorts, Bermuda shorts, or full-length pants. Use all of the colors or pare down the chart to just two colors. Skip the color work entirely and just make plain pants! So many possibilities!

Available in size sizes, and uses 1210 – 2200 yds of worsted weight yarn.

Animal Balls by Claire Slade

From the pattern description
The pattern includes instructions to make a robin, penguin, bear, hedgehog and sheep. All of the balls are made from the same basic ball pattern, the pattern includes comprehensive instructions for each of the different animals.

Uses 50 – 250 yds of fingering weight yarn.

Fanore by Melissa Metzbower

From the pattern description
Fanore is the perfect antidote for tousled beach hair. Shaping in a checkerboard lace pattern creates a simple bandana-style accessory for tying up loose locks. Pick up a skein of souvenir sock yarn in a popsicle color and knit Fanore while you wander along the ocean shore.

Available in one size, and uses 137 yds of fingering weight yarn.

Hoarfrost Ornaments by Cynthia Levy

From the pattern description
Let it snow! These pretty little ornaments feature colorwork snowflake motifs over a stockinette background. Recognizing that no two snowflakes are alike, the pattern provides a selection of six motifs creating a set of similar but unique ornaments. Make one, make two, make an entire snowstorm!

Uses approximately 45 yds for each ornament in fingering weight yarn.

Étoile de Noël Christmas Stocking by Karen Fletcher

From the pattern description
Several years ago a friend asked me to make Christmas stockings for his family. He wanted simple striped ones but as I made them I couldn’t help but think what an amazing canvas Christmas stockings would be for colorwourk, these were the eventual result.

Available in one size, and uses 450 – 600 yds of worsted weight yarn.
