Ninepatch is inspired by a traditional nine patch quilt block pattern. Incredibly simple, but offering strong visual appeal, I knew I wanted to create a toque based on this simple but highly adaptable pattern. While this toque was designed for a more slouchy style, it’s easily adaptable to be a more closely fitting cap style, or an even longer slouch.
Ninepatch is part of Changing Light, an ebook of five stranded colourwork patterns.
