Sólas is Scottish Gaelic for light – the design of this colour work reminded of of twinkle lights hanging from the eaves on chilly winter nights. A farmer’s rib begins with the same colour used on the central motif to add contrast to the more delicate colour work.
Sólas is part of Changing Light, an ebook of five stranded colourwork patterns.
