I’m happy to announce my newest pattern release: Fellwalker!
I’m a sock knitting nut. I love socks, I love cables, and I love texture, and this project features all three. With an easy double moss stitch, and a simple but effective cable running down the sides of your legs, these are a fast knit for the experienced sock knitter, or a good challenge for those wanting to get into more complex sock knitting.
But I think the most fun thing about these socks are the meandering cable – after the gusset stitches are picked up from the heel, the cables converge and angle to the side of your foot, creating a path to follow on your autumn hiking adventures.
These are a cuff down, turn heel/heel flap construction. The ribbing in the foot creates a fabric that fits easily to different sizes, making them a great unisex knit for yourself or others.
These socks are available in the CableStar Vol. 1: Galway Bay ebook, or as an individual pattern purchase. You can read more about the materials and the pattern right on over here.
Did you already buy the CableStar book? Then this pattern is already yours! An update is available now with the pattern.
Happy knitting!
